Not had a games console since my chipped PS2. Kids came along and didn't use it so much so sold it on.

Now have a Wii, but only a couple of games, Wii-fit and Sports.

Getting some for Christmas, with Mario Kart being the main (obvious) one. Also going to get the new Call Of Duty one for myself.

Can any of you guys recommend any good family type games. Kids are 3 and 6.

Rayman: Raving Rabbids 2 is one a mate was going on about.

Any others or any decent games in general. Not fussed what style of game for myself.

For kids, Mario Party 8 should be fine. It's full of mini games that are easy to understand.

I'd recommend "House of the dead overkill" or "Madworld" but they're rated 18+.

The Raving rabbids games can also be fun but the minigames might not always be easy to understand for kids.

Super smash bros brawl is also fun but might be kid friendly.

Or, there's New super mario bros Wii that should be released in a few days. It's like mario but multiplayer.

One of the best games hands down for kids around the age of 4/5 is the Dora Explorer or Go Diego

My daughter is 4 and it's the only game that she needs no help with....


Agree with the Rabbids games...they are all really good fun for the whole family..

The Rabbids Tv Party one especially.

My lad is now eight - he has Mario Kart Wii and Mario Party 8 but never really played them much.

He has however spent hours on Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Sunshine (a GC disc), Sonic Unleashed, Sonic & the Black Night, and De Blob. He also likes Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit and the Ravin Rabbids game (first one, I think).
